Saint Andrews by the Sea is one of the oldest churches on the Outer Banks. The Episcopalians who crossed these sands each Sunday must have been hardy souls. We believe this photo was taken around 1910. The church still looks much the same as it did in 1910, although the neighbors are a bit closer.
